Thailand Plans Stricter Data Center Rules to Manage Investment Boom

The proposed requirements will cover site selection, land use, fuel storage, water management and environmental practices.

The government has planned to classify data centers into seven categories based on their power requirements.

Existing operators will have one year to comply with the new minimum standards.
