Tchad and Russia Discuss Cybersecurity and Digital Services
Tchadian and Russian officials discussed cooperation on cybersecurity, digital services, and skills development during the Global Digitalization Forum in Moscow.
The discussions focused on Russian expertise in cybersecurity, digital services, and skills development, with the Tchadian officials seeking increased investment from Russian investors in the country’s digital transformation.
Moscow also requested N’Djamena’s support for its candidacy for positions in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The Tchad is currently expanding its digital infrastructure and improving online service access, with plans to deploy 500 telecommunications sites in underserved areas.
