CrowdStrike, a US-based cybersecurity firm, has identified a suspect behind recent cyberattacks on South Korean banks, which may be a Chinese individual.

The suspect used the open-source ARTEX system, developed in China, in conjunction with a large language model.

The firm found a cloud code session that included a prompt to create a resume for a cybersecurity researcher, with details about the attacker’s Telegram account, age, education, and location in Meizhou, Guangdong Province.
