Significant Gap Found Between Data Confidence and AI Readiness

Organisations are confident in their data recovery capabilities but struggle to demonstrate visibility, governance, and resilience needed for AI adoption.

A recent survey by Veeam and ITWeb found that while 85% of respondents were confident in their data recovery capabilities, only 14% had AI embedded into core business processes, and 29% rated themselves as ready to adopt AI initiatives.

The survey highlighted a disconnect between confidence in data management and the ability to validate that confidence, with respondents citing legacy systems, data sprawl, and incomplete data classification as key challenges.

To address these challenges, Veeam is offering its Data Command Platform, which provides full context around data and AI from multiple perspectives, helping organisations discover and classify data while establishing common policies and governance standards.
