Seoul plans to convert a former broadcasting site into a data center to meet the demand for digital infrastructure in the area.
The city of Seoul is planning to convert a former broadcasting site in the district of Gangseo into a data center. The site, which has been used for 30 years, will be demolished and rebuilt as a digital infrastructure to meet the growing demand for artificial intelligence and cloud services in the area. The data center will be designed to have a capacity of less than 10 megawatts, which is relatively small compared to other data centers in the city.
