RBI's New Data Centre Infrastructure Comprises Four State-of-the-Art Data Centres

The RBI’s new Data Centre infrastructure comprises four state-of-the-art data centres intended to support critical financial operations, including payment and settlement systems. These facilities will provide the technological foundation required to sustain India’s increasingly digital and interconnected financial ecosystem.

According to the information provided about the project, the facility has received certification under the Uptime Institute’s Tier IV standard, an internationally recognised benchmark for data-centre infrastructure resilience.

The facility is among the largest Tier IV-certified data-centre installations in the global banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector.
