RBI Launches Cybersecurity Hub to Counter Banking Cyber Threats

The Prime Minister highlighted the growing threat posed by cyber criminals and cyber terrorists to India’s financial system, and stressed the need for modern technological systems and trained professionals to respond to evolving threats.
The new facilities represent an investment in computing capabilities, banking reliability, and preparedness against cyber threats, and are expected to support the RBI’s efforts to strengthen banking infrastructure and improve the reliability of financial services.
