NTT Negotiates $6.3 Billion Data Center for Anthropic in Osaka
NTT Data Group is in advanced talks to build a dedicated data center for Anthropic in Osaka, Japan.
The proposed data center would be Anthropic’s first dedicated facility in Japan and could be one of the largest in the country by processing capacity.
The project would see Anthropic as the anchor client, giving the company local infrastructure for its operations in one of Asia’s major economies.
NTT estimates that partial operations could start in 2028, with a maximum cost of $6.3 billion, although the agreement is not yet finalized.
