NiSource to Supply 1,100MW to Microsoft Data Centers

NiSource, a major US power and gas company, has announced a long-term contract to supply approximately 1,100MW of new power generation resources to Microsoft’s data centers. The contract is expected to start in 2028.

Microsoft will bear the full cost of generation and transmission costs. This contract is expected to expand the total savings of existing power customers to approximately $1.75 billion.
