Microsoft Abandons UK Data Center Project
Microsoft cancels plans for a data center in Loughton, Essex, due to energy supply issues.
Microsoft has abandoned plans for a data center in the UK due to problems with energy supply, according to The Telegraph. The project, which was to be developed with cloud services provider Nscale, has been delayed and faced difficulties.
The decision to cancel the project comes as the UK faces a crisis in energy supply, with several major data center projects put on hold or abandoned due to concerns over power availability and costs.
