Mathematicians Can't Be Absent for AI Development
Mathematicians are urged to participate in AI research to improve AI's mathematical reasoning ability.
The Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Alliance was established on October 11 at Tsinghua University’s Qizhen Hall.
The alliance, initiated by Tsinghua University’s chair professor and Qizhen Hall director Qiu Chengtong, brings together multiple mathematics research institutions to promote the integration of mathematics and AI research.
Qiu Chengtong called for more mathematicians to participate in AI research to enhance AI’s mathematical reasoning ability.
