LG CNS Speeds Up AI Factory Construction with Modular Data Centers
LG CNS uses pre-fabricated modules to quickly set up AI factories, including GPU, server, power, and cooling infrastructure.
LG CNS is accelerating its entry into the AI factory market with its pre-fabricated modular data centers (PMDC) and AI factory full-stack services based on NVIDIA’s next-generation GPU, V100. The company’s PMDC allows for rapid construction of AI factories by pre-fabricating modules for GPU, server, power, and cooling infrastructure, reducing the time and cost of construction. The AI factory is a factory that produces AI by inputting power and data, and the demand for large-scale GPUs and the supporting power and cooling infrastructure is increasing as physical AI spreads beyond generative AI and AI agents.
The company has already launched its PMDC at the Datacenter World Asia 2026 conference in Singapore, where it showcased its 4MW IT Road power module based on V100 and a 1.2MW module based on NVIDIA’s GB300. LG CNS is also promoting a modular AI factory business that can be built without a large plot of land or a separate building, in a container format.
The company’s AI factory operation is supported by its full-stack service, which includes service-based GPUs (GPUaaS), intelligence services that support real-time learning and inference, and power and cooling technology. Customers can use the necessary amount of computing resources without having to build their own AI infrastructure.
