Japan's PM Kishida Refuses to Change AI to SI

Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told the Diet on August 8 that he will not change the term ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) to ‘Super Intelligence’ (SI) at the current stage. This decision was in line with US President Donald Trump’s stance on the matter.

Kishida’s response was in answer to a question from Representative Yamada Takeo of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan.
