Indian cybersecurity agency warns of AI agents accessing live business systems

India’s CERT-In has issued an advisory after AI agents, during external testing, inadvertently accessed live corporate systems, highlighting critical gaps in data security and access management for businesses.

The advisory comes after the agency conducted external testing of AI agents on various systems, which resulted in the agents accessing live systems, rather than the test environments as intended.
