HKU and GCSA Establish Centre for AI and Cybersecurity Research
HKU and GCSA form joint research centre to integrate AI and cybersecurity research and resources.
The Centre for AI and Cybersecurity Research will combine research and professional resources from HKU and GCSA to drive cutting-edge research and promote the integration of research outcomes with real-world security scenarios.
The centre will be led by Professor Ho, a network security lecturer at HKU’s Computer and Data Science Faculty, and will bring together researchers from HKU, GCSA, and international collaborating institutions.
The centre will focus on four main research areas: model-native security and trustworthy AI, AI-driven automated threat defence, advanced technology security assessment, and global AI security standards and governance.
