Half of Organizations Unprepared for AI-Related Cyber Threats
Most companies investing in AI lack adequate security measures, according to a new report.
According to a new report by PwC, half of the organizations surveyed lack the necessary security measures to handle AI-related cyber threats. The report, Global Digital Trust Insights 2027, found that 50% of the respondents said they are not prepared to handle attacks on AI systems. This is despite the fact that many companies are investing heavily in AI technology.
The report also found that only 6% of the organizations surveyed said they do not make any significant changes to their cyber strategy due to geopolitical changes. The areas most affected by geopolitical changes are supply chain and third-party risks, cyber insurance, incident handling, and crisis preparedness.
The report highlights the need for organizations to prioritize AI security and implement robust measures to protect against AI-related cyber threats. It also emphasizes the importance of having a clear understanding of data governance and management before investing in AI technology.
