Google Releases SynthID Detector for Public Use
The tool allows anyone to verify whether an image, video, or audio clip was generated or altered using AI.
The SynthID Detector is accessible via a dedicated website and supports AI-generated content from OpenAI, NVIDIA, Kakao, and will soon support Apple.
Google has been developing SynthID for over a year, initially restricting access to journalists and media professionals to combat digital misinformation.
