French Family Benefits Agency Hit by Cyberattack

The French National Agency for the Computing Systems Security (Anssi) and the French data protection authority, the Cnil, have been informed of the incident. The Vacaf platform allows eligible families to receive financial aid for vacations or summer camps. The agency has suspended access to the platform to prevent unauthorized access and has activated a crisis cell to manage the situation.
