Elvis Presley's Estate Sues Anthropic Over AI-Generated Music
Elvis Presley's estate is seeking over $41 million in damages from Anthropic, alleging copyright infringement.
The lawsuit, filed in California, claims that Anthropic’s AI model, Claude, incorporated 274 of Presley’s songs into its models without permission.
The estate alleges that Anthropic also removed or altered metadata related to copyright ownership from the songs.
