Denmark's Cybersecurity Threats Prompt Need for More Cyber Talents

Denmark faces a growing cyber threat, prompting a need for more cybersecurity talents to protect the nation's digital security.

The European Cybersecurity Championship has started in Bochum, Germany, where over 400 young people with exceptional computer skills are competing to break into systems and find hidden vulnerabilities.

The event is not just a competition, but also a way to develop the nation’s cybersecurity capabilities, as Denmark is under constant cyber attacks.

The country’s cybersecurity agency, Styrelsen for Samfundssikkerhed, has raised the threat level for destructive cyber attacks to high, and recently, nearly 8.8 million Danes’ personal data was compromised in a cyber attack.
