Data center moratoriums considered in Mid-South

Leaders across the Mid-South are considering proposals about data center development. The proposals include data center moratoriums, which would temporarily halt new data center construction in the region.

The moratoriums are being considered as part of a broader effort to address concerns about the environmental impact of data centers and the region’s growing energy needs.
