China and US Agree to Jointly Develop and Control AI

China and the US, as the first-tier countries in AI, have the ability and responsibility to jointly develop and control AI, said Wang Yi, Chinese Foreign Minister.

The two countries have agreed to establish a dialogue mechanism on AI, exchange related risks and benefits, and establish a communication channel for AI events.

The next dialogue is scheduled to take place in November this year, focusing on topics such as risk classification and grading standards for AI.
