CBSE Integrates Artificial Intelligence into Formal Curriculum for Classes IX-XII

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is introducing a mandatory 20-hour module on artificial intelligence and computational thinking for students in Classes IX-XII. The module, developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), aims to foster essential digital literacy and critical thinking skills in students. The module is designed to be integrated into the existing curriculum and will be implemented from the upcoming academic session.
