Bunnings Launches AI-Powered Assistant Buddy for Kiwi DIYers

The online tool, named Buddy, can answer questions, analyze user input, and provide practical advice, inspiration, and product recommendations.

Buddy was built using Google Cloud’s Gemini technology and draws guidance from Bunnings’ existing project and how-to material.

The assistant has guardrails and consent-based interactions to ensure the guidance it provides is relevant and responsible.
