Bill Gates Predicts Four Professions Safe from AI
Bill Gates believes artificial intelligence will take over most human tasks, but four professions will remain unaffected.
According to Gates, the four professions that will be least affected by AI are programming, biology, energy, and professional sports. He believes that AI will not replace human innovation and understanding of complex systems in these fields.
Gates emphasized that while AI will take over many tasks, humans will still have a choice in what they want to keep doing. He used the example of baseball, saying that people will not want to watch robots play the game.
Microsoft, Gates’ former company, is already implementing AI in various areas, including a program that will allow 60,000 employees to take a sabbatical, with AI taking on more responsibilities.
