AWS Programme Develops SA's Black-Owned Tech Trailblazers
AWS South Africa's R365 million programme helps 48 cloud-native Black-owned businesses scale.
The Equity Equivalent Investment Programme (EEIP) aims to create employment and opportunities for South Africans, with a focus on Black-owned cloud businesses.
Participants receive AWS partnership status, certifications, and business skills, with over 1,000 accreditations and 500 certifications accrued.
The programme has already employed over 180 youths through a partnership with the Youth Employment Services (YES) Programme.
