Anthropic Brings Claude directly to Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

The feature rollout introduces a unified workspace experience, allowing users to collaborate with AI in real time on active documents without manually toggling between browser tabs or copy-pasting draft text.

Under the new integration, available in public beta for Claude Pro, Team, and Enterprise accounts, users can launch Claude in a sidebar panel alongside any active document, spreadsheet, or presentation.

Unlike conventional AI tools that simply generate text for users to copy into an editor, Claude acts as a real-time co-creator, inspecting context, interpreting existing styles, and performing edits directly inside the file.
