AMD Partners with 13 Korean AI Firms to Challenge NVIDIA CUDA
AMD teams up with 13 Korean AI companies to create an open-source inference solution to challenge NVIDIA's CUDA ecosystem.
AMD plans to integrate its EPYC CPU and Instinct GPU with Korean NPU chips to create a complete system solution.
The solution will first be demonstrated in Korea and then rolled out globally through AMD’s sales channels.
The open-source ROCm software stack is a key component of the plan, allowing Korean NPU companies to seamlessly integrate with AMD’s hardware.
