Amami City Builds First Fully Local Generation AI Environment
Amami City in Kagoshima Prefecture has built the first fully local generation AI environment in Japan, using Digital Agency's open-source software "ζΊε " as its base.
The environment, called AMAMI GENAI, is built on two NVIDIA DGX Spark systems in parallel configuration, and runs local LLM and Open GENAI without external internet connection.
This allows Amami City to process all data within its own servers, eliminating the risk of unintended information leakage.
The system is designed to provide high-precision answers based on structured data, and can be used for tasks such as policy-making and document management.
