AirTrunk has secured a $1.55 billion green loan to build an AI-friendly data center in Japan, which will be equipped with liquid cooling technology.
The data center, located in Chiba Prefecture, is expected to be operational by January 2028 and will be part of AirTrunk’s global sustainable finance platform.
AirTrunk is currently operating four data centers in Japan, including in Tokyo and Osaka, and plans to expand further while prioritizing sustainable development and social responsibility.
