AI Model Accurately Predicts Cancer Patients' Survival Chances from Facial Photos
Researchers developed a model that uses facial photos to predict cancer patients' survival chances and biological age.
The model, called FAHR-FaceSurvival, was trained on over 40 million facial photos of people of different ages and ethnicities.
It combines facial features with clinical data to predict survival chances.
The study found that patients with high-risk scores had a 52.5% mortality rate within 90 days, while those with low-risk scores had a 2% mortality rate.
