250 Zambian clinics switch to cloud-based electronic health records
Paratus Zambia and Right to Care have connected 250 remote health facilities with Starlink, supporting digital healthcare delivery.
The clinics have transitioned to Zambia’s SmartCare electronic health record system, replacing paper-based records with real-time data capture and retrieval.
The system allows healthcare workers to access patient records, laboratory results, and referrals more efficiently.
The partnership between Paratus Zambia and Right to Care has improved connectivity stability and enabled healthcare facilities to access digital systems for healthcare delivery and HIV treatment programmes.
