Chérif Kounta, a 14-year-old from Burkina Faso, has created an AI called FasoNova, tailored to the country’s and Africa’s specific needs. He founded Alpha IA and developed FasoNova to assist users in achieving their goals. The AI is not just a question-answering tool, but a companion that guides users from start to finish.

Kounta used public resources to train and improve FasoNova, making it responsive to local languages, culture, and daily usage. The AI’s ‘mode mission’ feature allows it to accompany users in achieving their objectives, providing detailed information and support.

FasoNova is currently accessible via its website, and Kounta plans to deploy it on the Google Play Store soon. He aims to use the AI to support local development, particularly in education, where it can help students with homework and provide detailed corrections.
