The project involves measuring and registering over 4,000 hectares of state forest land, equivalent to more than 6,000 standard football fields. The work will be carried out in 13 regional units across Lithuania, with ŽŪDC surveyors measuring and marking the boundaries of over 100 state forest plots. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

The project is being carried out by ŽŪDC surveyors from various regional units, who will use their experience and expertise to ensure the accuracy and quality of the work. The project is expected to benefit both foresters and neighboring landowners, as clear boundaries will facilitate planning and reduce disputes over land use.

The project is part of ŽŪDC’s ongoing efforts to improve the management and maintenance of state forest land, and to provide accurate and reliable data for decision-making purposes.
