Most British MPs Use AI to Write Speeches, Analysis Finds

The study, which used an AI detection tool called Pangram, found that about one in 10 words spoken in UK parliament debates were generated by AI.

The use of AI in speechwriting is not unique to the UK, with many MPs in other countries also using the technology.

In Australia and Canada, for example, AI-generated speeches are three times more common than in the UK, while in the US, AI-generated content is found in about a third of congressional speeches.
