China's Factories See New Momentum as AI-Driven Demand Boosts Output
China's industrial sector rebounded in September, driven by a surge in demand for technology and industrial goods.
The rebound was led by a resurgence in production and strong demand, linked to the global expansion of artificial intelligence.
The official PMI index for the manufacturing sector rose to 50.1 in September, from 49.8 in August, with production and new orders also showing improvement.
A separate survey by RatingDog found that the production PMI reached 52.1 in September, the highest level in five months, with AI, technology, and advanced manufacturing driving growth.
